The Shield Gates story began over a Christmas BBQ lunch full of laughter, beer, lively conversation, and a spark of inspiration. When Pone the Builder, Joe the Landscaper and Hannah the National Programs lead, realised that securing your home could be as fun as a family reunion, we decided to join forces.

Combining Pone’s hands-on building expertise, Joe’s knack for beautifying outdoor spaces and Hannah’s flair for organisation and strategic planning, we set out to create an Automated Gate Installation company that reflects our values. As a family-run business serving Auckland and Tauranga, we believe that security and privacy should be taken seriously, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun along the way.
